SwimRunBikeRun

Sure there were winners in age groups, male and female, but that's not really the story. The story from Saturday's Survival of the Shawangunks triathlon for kids is in each athlete's tale. Complete results HERE
Type 2 Fun
One boy, Aidan Mumper, in the first wave, came down the run into the bike transition a little confused and scared. And after the race with his finisher t-shirt on- he's glowing.
Empty the Tank
This boy in the red tri-suit, lane 4,Caden Salamone, left it all out on the course. He had a great swim. T1 was smooth. He's got his game face on as he starts the first run. He came through the finish pouring it on. He was having a hard time breathing after he crossed the finish line. Half an hour later- hanging with his bud,Rohan Kenney, talking about which friend beat the other.
Just a day in the life, making it look easy.
Dylan Friedman and Renata Martinez
Tri-star
This kid~ Rhys Weires, he loves what he's doing.

Determination
Berlin Kohler is clearly a bit anxious before the start of the swim. It's hard to say if she loves triathlon. She sure poured it on for the finish.
