Pfalz Point Trail Challenge '16
A chilly morning greeted the runners and spectators of the '16 Pfalz Point Trail Challenge- perfect running weather.
The oddly subdued runners started off through the field below the Slingerland Pavilion at Spring Farm and headed out for 10 miles of trails, single-track and carriage road.
As the runners came down Table Rocks Trail from the summit of Guyots they were quiet and focused on the rock and roots before them. See photos below.
After that the course took carriage roads for another loop around Spring Farm to finish downhill back to the pavilion.
The Shawangunk Runners Club timed the race and hung the finish banner.
It was half a head too short for many runners who had to duck on their way to the shoot.
