'16 and Manitou's Revenge

Manitou had his revenge on some this year and many overcame. Race results HERE.  Relay results HERE.
The fourth year of slog across the Wall of Manitou saw 95 starters and 74 finishers as well as four relay teams. Overall fast time was Carlo Agostinetto 11:16:40. He and Brian Rusiecki spent the 52 miles neck and neck. The two came in through the first five checkpoints within minutes of each other. Agostinetto was four minutes behind at Willow but made it up and then some in the last miles to finish a mere 2 minutes and 62 seconds ahead of Rusiecki. The intrepid final finisher, Michael  Buzon, came in at 23:34:47. There were a few folks who made it past the cut off at Willow but not into Phoenicia before the 24 hour cutoff. That's trail running.
